Helene U. Taylor

Moved to UK in August 1999

I am an organised person who likes challenges and I never grow tired of learning new things. I am curious by nature, a fast learner and I have a background which has given me a wide range of skills and experience.

I have had many interests and hobbies over the years, many of which I still enjoy. Major interests have been music, books, arts and crafts, gardening and cooking. My main interest and hobby since 1998 has been creative work on my computer, and I am familiar with a range of programs like Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks.
I played in a marching band in Norway from 1994 to 1997 and I played in a symphonic orchestra as a child and teenager.
I have a wide experience in different kinds of handicraft like sowing, embroidery and knitting, and I have from time to time designed and made clothes for special occasions for family, friends and acquaintances.
I can read and write both official Norwegian languages, and I speak ‘Bokmål’.

My English gets better with every year I live in the UK; I try to keep up with my writing skills as well as my ability to communicate with other English speaking people.

I can communicate in both Danish and Swedish, I can read both languages but I cannot write in either of them.

I can communicate in German, on a very basic ‘tourist level’.
